Hydra Contracting, LLC (Hydra) was formed in February of 2013 building on over 50 years of combined experience in water distribution. Our team bring decades of experience in the maintenance, repair and replacement of water distribution systems with specific emphasis working with fire hydrants.
We are recognized throughout the State of Arizona as a leader in the water distribution industry. Our proven approach to hydrant maintenance, repair and replacement combines decades of experience on both municipal and utility company systems.
David Muñoz
Operations Manager
As a founding member of the company, David Munoz brings decades of water, wastewater, and gas systems experience to Hydra. Prior to starting Hydra, David was the Water Distribution Supervisor for the Town of Gilbert. Before Gilbert, David spent 31 years working for the City of Mesa in various capacities including the role of Acting Water Distribution Superintendent.
David’s ability to maintain the highest level of quality, adhere to deadlines and manage budgets results in quality deliverables for our clients. David excels in developing and motivating Hydra’s team to peak performance levels. He has a reputation as a superior problem solver, mentor, and expert in the hydrant sector of the water industry.
